Boutique recently joined Boston Red Sox First Baseman Kevin Youkilis as a sponsor of the second annual
Goodnight Moon Gala, an event benefiting the Massachusetts chapter of Raising a
Reader. Youkilis’ Red Sox charitable organization, Hits for Kids teams up with
existing community-based children's charities and medical research programs to
help them raise money and awareness. Harvard Sweet Boutique provided gift boxes
of cookies for all of the event’s attendees.
Raising a Reader engages low-income parents in a routine of daily book sharing from birth to age five, fostering healthy brain development, parent-child bonding, and the early literacy skills essential for school success.
